nosebleedhooligans:

Here’s a mystery for you.
The Maricopa County Sheriff’ Office released a mugshot of ex-NFL QB and Fox Sports 1 football analyst Donovan McNabb.
There was no reason given. McNabb had not been under arrest since Jan. 6, for a criminal traffic citation, reports Deadspin. TMZ claims it was for a DUI arrest.
Maricopa County is headed by controversial right wing Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
I’m thinking computer glitch. If no one asks, no one tells. Sources don’t offer you anything. Maybe McNabb said something horrible about the Arizona Cardinals.

VIKINGS RECLAIM THE NFC CENTRAL TITLE, LOSE SUPER BOWL TO DOLPHINS:

The addition of Running Back Chick Foreman who wins both Offensive Rookie and Offensive Player of the Year honors is just the spark the Vikings offense needs, as the Vikings rebound off a sub par year by winning their first nine games, on the way to reclaiming the NFC Central with a 12-2 record. In the Divisional Playoffs the Vikings would beat the Washington Redskins 27-20 in an exciting game at The Met. Playing in Dallas for the NFC Championship the Vikings Defense would smother the Cowboys all day in a convincing 27-10 win that earned the Vikings a trip to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl VIII: Facing the defending Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins in Houston the Vikings hopes for a Lombardi Trophy were dashed quickly as the Dolphins jumped out to a 14-0 lead behind the powerful running of Larry Csonka. Trailing 24-0 the Vikings would score on four yard Fran Tarkenton bootleg, to avoid the shutout at 24-17.

RAVENS RB RAY RICE INDICTED FOR THIRD-DEGREE AGGRAVATED ASSAULT Ravens running back Ray Rice has been indicted by a grand jury on third-degree aggravated assault charges, Adam Caplan of ESPN reports. The charge stems from an incident inv…olving his fiancee Janay Palmer in February. Rice allegedly struck her in an elevator at the Revel Casino in Atlantic City, N.J. Rice and Palmer were both initially charged with simple assault after police said he knocked out Palmer. However prosecutors took the case to the grand jury, which elevated the charge to the more serious aggravated assault for Rice and Palmer’s charges were dismissed. If convicted, Rice could face up to five years in prison. Palmer’s attorney, Michael Diamondstein, issued a statement to Caplan denying the charges. “I have been advised by the prosecutor’s office that an indictment has been returned. The state has decided not to prosecute Ms. (Janay) Palmer. While we certainly aren’t looking to pass the buck, it was Ms. Palmer who started the altercation, and the state chose to prosecute Mr. Rice only. And again, we deny that he committed an aggravated assault. We don’t think the law would support that (he did). And we just ask the public to reserve judgement until all of the facts are out.” The Ravens released this statement: “This is part of the due process for Ray. We know there is more to Ray Rice than this one incident.” The couple recently entered counseling. (Photo: Getty Images)
